With dozens of high-profile releases ready to roll after being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, vaccines widely available and at least a segment of moviegoers primed to return to the cineplex (some demographics more excited than others), the movie business attempted a Hollywood comeback in 2021.

Now, as the days tick down on another calendar year, we can ask the billion-dollar question: Did the movie business …….

Maybe it’s the cold weather. Maybe it’s the widespread good cheer, or possibly the dark. But whatever the justification, no other season is as widely associated with great movies as the holidays, a fave subject for directors from Frank Capra to Greta Gerwig. There’s nothing quite like curling up with a relaxing holiday movie after an intense shopping session or a few hours wrapping gifts. And for an easy way to take things up a notch, pair that classic holiday movie with a great drink.

Just as with food and wine pairings, combining specific movies with selected beve…….

“Spider-man: No way home” is another Marvel movie and this one stars Spidey doing his thing, flying from building to bridge to wherever he wants to go.

Two decades removed from the god-awful horrors of Bob Hoskins’ Super Mario Bros., could Hidden Blades be the key to ending the curse of terrible video game movies? Five years since its disastrous theatrical release the answer to this question is …….

Justice for the 1999 cinematic masterpiece The Mummy starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.

Earlier this year, we asked the BuzzFeed Community about which movies they love that critics did NOT love. We got so many good answers that we decided to put them all together in one post. Here are some of the most egregious failures from movie critics to recognize genius!

Hocus Pocus …….

As Christians, we are called to a higher standard of what we put into our hearts and minds and responsible for what comes from our mouths and what is portrayed in our actions. It is so easy today to get caught up in mainstream media and sacrifice our values. We convince ourselves that the world is doing it, and perhaps other Christians are even doing it, which should make it ok. Right? Wrong. Our Lord expects so much more of us.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will…….

Year-end movie catch-up is always frustrating for those who aren’t in New York and L.A. — and it’s especially tricky this year, when even those in the big cities may not be ready to venture to theaters yet. Luckily, plenty of great 2021 titles are available right now on the subscription streaming services; you just have to know where to look.

Stream it on Hulu.

Just like Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker, Garfield’s version of the character also has a poster of Albert Einstein.
